Megans looks to have the muscle, but that is deceiving in these pictures. From the pictures he is the one IF he has some bark on him when the time comes. I love to have judges comments written down as to why this one is the best and that one is the worst when we look at the ultrasounds or the hanging carcass. We have bred cattle that deceive the eye, no fat cover but marbled to the max. BTW, in this years steers I have some PRIMES, YG 1, .25 inches of backfat. You can no longer judge cattle by the cover,
 
Actually they are eating Elite Breeder Ration from co-op feeds-I'm pretty sure it's mostly barley no corn in it. We tried another company last year and got six straight minibulk bags of spoiled feed-not real good for calves your trying to finish.
