Making the cut

I've concluded that we need to examine and rate every potential politician as though we had no constraints or constitution. What kind of a ruler would they be if that were the situation? Most that we have now would not make the cut.

I have long thought that the way the DOJ and Attorney General of the U.S. is selected by the Pres and under his Admin is a severe oversight in the Constitution.

The Attorney General should be elected. Not selected.

This would go a long way in keeping a close eye on Congress and the Administrative Officials.

I have thought that for a long time now.. after working in DC right before I retired from the military made me realize these guys are idiots..

egotistical idiots.. at that..

since most stuff gets passe on party lines.. I like many in the TEA party have decided to try to put up primary challenges..

this does two things,.. one it may actually get rid of the idiot currently in office..

and if it fails, at least the idiot still in office is put on notice that we are unhappy with them..

but for the sake of the country, I can not do the same in the federal general elections..

sure would like to see term limits..

I agree that the attorney general should be elected,

but also not allowed to raise money to get elected as power and money corrupt to easily..

Can you imagine how far Nancy, Harry, or Big O would go if it were not for the constraints of the constitution?

I imagine after the election if the democrats keep the senate the constitution will be the last thing on their mind...

Sheriff's are elected but the Top Cop/AG is appointed. I agree they should be elected and out from under the influence of anyone especially a corrupt President like Obama.
