When I was a kid of 16 I went to a branding at Pete Hamilton's ranch at Beaver Valley. Pete was a bit of an alky and usually had quite a crew around helping him consume the family fortune.
One fellow was wandering around with big scabs on both ears. I asked one of the Felker boys what happened and was informed that the victom had got on the fight the night before so they had tagged him with two Allflex tags.
Apparently the fellow removed the tags himself.

How much :drink: was involved :D You'd think that that he would have cut them off, to pull out a eartag right after being tagged and do this with both ears major ouch!

Booze flowed through that outfit like water. I would guess the tagee used a pair of sharp scissors and removed the tags shortly after they were applied.

I sold old Pete a butchered pig earlier that spring. When I delivered the 140 lb carcass Pete was passed out in his bed. His "helpers" instructed me to bring the pig in the house where they promptly tucked it in beside Pete.

Never heard what his reaction was to that escipade. :D

Pete's brother Tommy traded his Native wife for twenty head of cows once. The wife moved back with Tommy a year later. Tommy kept the cows.

I need to live where y'all do. Any place where one can trade his wife for cows is place for me. I had to divorce mine.

The wife story was halarious, after seeing the video, what do you find to be more of an eyesore, the tags on this guy or tounge piercings on or in people your see working tills in stores?

Definitely the tounge piercings do it for me. This is what people who get tounges pierced should do after getting their operation, :secret: then we don't have to see it.
