With the stoutness of that puller I gather you are anticipating the "Maine Event" next spring. :wink: :p

I doubt that Soapweed will need that puller all that much for the Maine X calves. I ran a fullblood Maine Anjou bull ( the red and white kind) with 35 Angus cows for 6 years and I pulled 1 calf in that time. I also run some black Simmental bulls and don't seem to pull many calves out of them either. Two weeks to calving, so shouldn't get too cocky yet!
