Took the hereford cows over to Thief Valley last sunday. Was supposed to be the coolest day of the week but turned out to be the warmest :???: Took them almost twice as far as normal, took 7 1/2 hours.

Starting out

Jill waiting for our turn to do something

Creek was medium high, our wing worked great

More cows coming

Black cows wondering why they can't go, Jill took them back up the hill

Coming thru the next gate

This herd of elk wintered here :x Grass eating, fence destroying buggers.

Finally there!!! Poor little calves lay down as soon they got through the gate.

The black cows will be going there next weekend. They will go to where the elk picture was taken.
