This heifer was pronounced open by ultrasound in September. Glad I didn't sell her for a little old reason like that. :wink:

Stuck on the meadow

Dug it in pretty good

After we brought another tractor to unload the bales, the original stuck tractor was able to get the hay hauler backed out onto solid ground.

Heifers wintered at the JF Ranch

They are ready for grass and some male consorts.

Just standing around chewing the fat

Scattered out enjoying life

Not too fat and not too thin; pretty good shape for the shape they're in.

A nose-pickin' fun time was had by all.

Have high hopes that they'll make decent cows someday.

And then to make matters worse, I reloaded, went around the long way, and in crossing another waterway, was listening to the radio. A major international event had occurred, and a certain individual was patting himself on the back, taking way too much credit for the outcome. While being wrapped up and disgusted with the news report, I wasn't paying proper attention to the business at hand. The bale hauler hit a hole and two bales of hay fell into the drink. Somehow the whole day seemed like a Monday. :roll:

Shelly asked me the same thing,we have our doubts they even got him,just tell the people what they want to hear.I guess if they did get him,the americans will see some kind of retaliation with in the year.
