Moved the replacement heifers out to grass today. It was a little exciting as we hadn't worked them from horseback before :oops: We sent the tractor ahead with a bale but it had no Pied Piper affect. Which we assumed, but we wanted some dry hay up there anyway so thought we'd try.

They know something is up:

Countryside is greening up. We finally had some rain, 1" over 2 days. Hopefully things get jumping now.

A registered 3 yr old Appy and a 2 yr old QH filly that has Peppy San on the front side of the papers. I have high hopes for both.
