These are abit late in being posted but since it's drizzling this morning thought I'd get them on finally.

Went mushrooming for Jim, the neighbor's, birthday. Didn't find any morels, but did get alot of calf brains.

Mike the mighty mushroom hunter

With his saw...actually it is Jim's. Neither of us had a knife with us.

Creek was a tad high so that is why the black cow traildrive was delayed

Had a few cool nights and it went down so we decided to go. The cows getting gathered up. (No picture of my horse getting stuck in the mud...in the hayfield of all places)

Whoo hoo...we're going somewhere

The creek is still high, but manageable

Had a few floaters but not too bad

The trusty calf watchers

Jim on Emily

Heading up the hill

Jill doing her thing

Busy dog, kinda warm for the dogs but ok for the cattle and us.

Flowers galore

The lower Powder River was a bit high...view from the top of the hill

Antelope on the ridge watching us mother up

Even working dogs have to nap sometime

Memorial day weekend, David (Mikes son) and Caleb were both home on leave from the army. :) David is in Afghanastan and Caleb is in Iraq.

This is Adam (another nephew), David and Caleb

Putting salt out and took a few pics
Cow with a Ribeye bull calf

Steer calf that can't wait for mom to wake up...doesn't look like he's missed many meals!

Not a may picture but Caleb came back over this last weekend for his last weekend of leave.
