Every comment that the regime and it's minions make on the subject just ring hollow. Such a bunch of disingenuous idiots. Kerry is too stupid to live.

U.S. President George W. Bush hailed the passing of the agreement between the two countries. "The Security Agreement addresses our presence, activities, and withdrawal from Iraq", Bush said. He continued that "two years ago, this day seemed unlikely - but the success of the surge and the courage of the Iraqi people set the conditions for these two agreements to be negotiated and approved by the Iraqi parliament".

You mean a speech like GW did when he signed the agreement telling Iraq the US would have all troops out by 12/31/2011.... :???:

The U.S.–Iraq Status of Forces Agreement (official name: Agreement Between the United States of America and the Republic of Iraq On the Withdrawal of United States Forces from Iraq and the Organization of Their Activities during Their Temporary Presence in Iraq) was a status of forces agreement (SOFA) between Iraq and the United States, signed by President George W. Bush in 2008. It established that U.S. combat forces would withdraw from Iraqi cities by June 30, 2009, and all U.S. forces will be completely out of Iraq by December 31, 2011.

Obama was to negotiate the withdraw, with troop left to protect the country until they got on their feet and HE FAILED. So stop blaming Bush he had no idea the Dems would elect a total incompetent azz to take over and see to it what Bush accomplished in Iraq would be wasted.

NYT: Iraq withdrawal outcome of Obama negotiating failure
posted at 12:30 pm on October 22, 2011 by Ed Morrissey

When Barack Obama announced yesterday that all US troops would return from Iraq, he framed it as a campaign promise kept, although Obama promised to pull the troops out in 16 months and ended up sticking with the timeline set by George Bush instead. He also neglected to mention that his administration had spent the last several months trying to avoid the outcome he proudly proclaimed. This morning, the New York Times makes clear that neither side wanted a full withdrawal from Iraq, and that the collapse in negotiations came as a result of bungling by the White House:

That is the OBAMA WHITE HOUSE Oldtimer not the Bush White House.

More words of wisdom from the VP posted in the NYT's

Mr. Biden also predicted that the Americans could work out a deal with a government led by Mr. Maliki. “Maliki wants us to stick around because he does not see a future in Iraq otherwise,” Mr. Biden said. “I’ll bet you my vice presidency Maliki will extend the SOFA,” he added, referring to the Status of Forces Agreement the Obama administration hoped to negotiate.

Did anybody make Joe live up to his bet?

Obama's Greatest Achievement and Maliki would sign the Obama negotiated SOFA. And Iraq would have a stable government when Obama and Biden get done as Joe knows all the main players from all those overseas visits.

But BLAME BUSH as he was the one that invaded Iraq without Congressional approval. No wait, he had Congressional Democrat supported approval, it was Obama that invaded Libya without Congressional approval and turned that country into an Obama Administration SUCCESS STORY. What difference does it make that Al Queada wasn't on the run and they killed the Ambassador to that country along with three other Americans. It had nothing to do with Obama's unapproved meddling in a foreign country's affairs, it had everything to do with a VIDEO and campaign rhetoric .

Oh and lets all make sure the Dems make history again by electing the first female President. Forget she was the Sec of State that the Ambassador personally emails to requesting added security for himself and she ignored her personal friend's request, leading to his death by the hands of a TERRORIST ATTACK she just happen to LIE ABOUT TO PROTECT HER POLITICAL CAREER.

I gave GW an ATTA-BOY for negotiating the withdrawl and I gave Obama one for keeping his promise to the US people and the Iraqi people and carrying thru on it...

But long before that I had protected as soon as the U.S. leaves - Iraq would again break out in Tribal and Civil war... Anyone with any sense or that talked to the grunts coming back could see that... These folks have no idea of the type Democracy we tried to shove down their throats or any experience with freedom that would make them willing to fight for it... They have lived under Tribal, colonial, dictatorship, or religious rule for hundreds/thousands of years- and GW doing his John Wayne swagger and thinking he could change it was a joke...

Nice rant, hope you feel better.

BTW, did you ever comment on whether you believe The Messiah is a uniter or a divider? I know that stuff's important to you as it's in your sigline.
