Since I've been bashed as a "women hater" and everything else for questioning Sister Sarah- I'll let the McCain/Palin campaign folks describe it best...

McCain and Palin come out fighting - after Alaska governor labelled 'whack job'

Minutes after an aide to John McCain effectively described Sarah Palin as unhinged — the latest sign of open war inside the embattled Republican campaign — the two candidates were roared on to a stage yesterday in Pennsylvania, a state that is central to their ever narrowing path to victory.
------
In the past week, aides to the Arizona senator have briefed reporters anonymously against Mrs Palin, describing the Alaska Governor as a “diva”. Yesterday a far harsher pejorative emerged: one called her a “whack job”, a term usually reserved for people who are dangerously unbalanced. Yet if there were tensions between the candidates they put on a rousing display of unity, with Mr McCain delivering perhaps his most impassioned and effective speech of the campaign.

What aides?? Where are the names???

Is OT an aide? He and other's have called her much worse in this forum.

Headlines, "OT in Rancher's Net thinks Palin should stay at home and raise her family...."

With the obvious media bias, it is really surprising that this hasn't hit national news already.

Reckon what impact such a statement would be for women voters? :D :D

Your statement was JUST as stupid as his. Read some of the American newspaper crap posted in here. What I get from your post...No intelligent life in America...They're in Iraq..... :?

I've been a conservative for a long time but here on ranchers I'm embarrassed at times to admit it cause it seems like an "awful lot" of the conservative thinkers on here are THE most arrogant, holier then thou, predudice bunch of thinkers I've EVER ran across.

I do think your use of the word "thinkers" is complimentary at best. The christian far right is best described as "followers". Hopefully the world will get a deserved respite from the right wingnuts that have plagued the planet for the past eight years. They are the "western taliban" and should be treated as such.

ps. I also have also never voted anything but conservative!

The day that "American Christians" as a whole are equated with the Taliban is a day our founding forefathers would never have dreamed of.........

Even Jefferson, who staunchly fought a government/religion alliance is spinning in his grave.

"THE CHRISTIAN FAR RIGHT" not American Christians is my qoute. Nice try though.

Who would assume you were talking about anything other than American Christians. We are discussing the United States of America...right???

Ms. Greg, I'm sorry you'd offended so easily. Hard to tell sometimes when you're having fun with someone else. No minds will ever be changed on this board so why not just relax and have some fun. OT has put a few bumps on my head as well.

Nice try. Nothing twisted. You stereotyped Christians. You may have meant it differently but you did not distiguish one group of Christians from another. I read that all Christians are far right.

Mrs. Greg, I communicate regularly with two Mensa members in Canada. To be in that group, those folks have to be intelligent.

Are "Christian Far Rightists" AMERICAN CHRISTIANS? :???:

I read that he considers American Christians far right and the equivalent of the Taliban.

I don't think he meant it that way, based on his response.

Probably because some of you are pompass pricks.....Funny how so many of you claim to side with Jesus...I just wonder how many of you he would consider as good people.....I must say I see many hypocrites in here that hide behind religion...and quite frankly it is sad and shows a huge lack of respect to those real christians out there that get up off there kneesand help those that they can......Oh and they do it with out telling everyone what they have done....

OOOPs. Sorry Mike. He did mean what he said. Note the last 8 year thing. If you care Christian, and voted republican, he's talking to you. You are the same as the Taliban in his eyes.

I'm NOT offended easily, which should be obvious since I keep posting on political. More tired of the ARROGANT,HOLIER THEN THOU,PREDUDICE attitude that seems to be taking over this board.

As for elwapos post...just proves I'm right when you all get a chuckle out of making a mockery of his post.

BHB....you lost me on your Mensa post....it was the attitude toward the UK that I found ignorant, now your lumping the Canadians into the unintelligent post..... :???: BTW....your NOT one I lump into the above discription, but if one runs with snakes...............
