McCain up by 20 points.

Heard on the news tonight that Obama was leading McCain by 8 points with white women but since the R convention and the picking on Palin McCain is leading by 12.

Quite a swing of voters in a week. :)

So the thread should read."Palin up by 20 pionts" .It is sad to me to see a president candidate pimp out his VP,cause he cannot win on the job on his own merrit...I hope thats not his normal problem solving technic.....People are now voting on the VP not the pres....kinda sucks if you ask me. I know Aplus, sandhusker, mike, hopalong, larry and the rest of my supporters will tell me that.NOBODY ASKED ME!!!...

that's not good at all,.. as he sinks in the polls,, Obama will have to dump Biden and Hillary will then have to decline the job.. knowing she has a better chance in four years..

I also heard Obama has given up on ads in several states and McCain is placing ads in California..

you had a good point until you used the word.. pimp.. do you really think that is the right word to be used to when refering to a lady and mother?

Palin is not only supporting McCain but carrying the ticket..

every good leader brings in a vp that can "support" thier ticket.. and any good president brings in people that compliment his admistration.. I hope he continues to bring in great people like Palin..

While Biden is dragging Obama down... well not really they are sinking togeather, but Obama will dump him..

Obama wasn't going to win, anyway. He was losing ground before Palin. The voters are looking harder at this guy and they see that he's nothing.

Oblahblahs fifteen minutes of fame is up.

Why shouldn't we tout Palins merits, after all the socialists on here have been saying McCain has one foot in the grave.

I don't worry at all about Palen being a heartbeat away from the Presidency. But if something happens to Oblahblah there's just Obiden and then.....

Did you hear Oblahblah stumbling his way through the interview with Stephanopolaus. He actually said "my muslim religon", and Stephy corrected him "your christian religion"?

You can hope and pray all you what but this country is'nt going to elect Obama just on skin color alone racist or not that's just the way it is.There are alot of older american's that will use that as their decideing factor in itself..

Obama's claim to fame is in the 18-29 age group(you know...the ones protesting at the two conventions). I think American adults started looking at their kid's and grandkid's generations and asked themselves, "Is that who I want running my life?"

Double digit inflation would be good for that group. Many of them have hocked themselves beyond belief with huge house payments and new cars every few years.

McCain says he is going to expose the pork barrel pigs. I can't wait.

I agree, I think Obama would have lost by a very decisive mark no matter whom he chose! Palin just made a few of us excited about the vote we would have cast anyways! Palin excites me that in 8 years maybe we will have a chance at a Conservative back in office. Or that she may teach him a few things about Conservatism and he will change the way he thinks on subjects like ANWR!

The hope is her good rubs off on him, and not his bad habits on her! Time will tell! There is also the hope that Conservatives see that being a Conservative can get you elected, that you do not have to go to the left in your Policies to get elected!

That was funny! I bet someone uses it in an add sometime in the future! I wonder if it is all over YouTube?

The man does not know how many states or what religion he is. :? Funny how ragged on McCain got for confusing two Muslim sects.

And Obama can not speak very well, unless he is reading it! He is a good reader though, he should get a job narrating books in the future!
