it's good to know that McCaskill is worried about the Repub. party.

WASHINGTON -- Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) warned top Republican officials on Monday that any efforts to push Rep. Todd Akin (R-Mo.) out of the Senate race against her, following his galling remarks about "legitimate" rape victims not getting pregnant, would backfire.

"I think for Washington party insiders to come in and try to invalidate the votes of Missourians would be radical," McCaskill said in a phone interview with The Huffington Post. "I think that would be a very radical thing to have happen, and I can't imagine how the Republican primary voters would think about that in Missouri."

"I think there would be a significant backlash," she added. "I'm not sure that would have a good ending for the Republican Party."

I saw her on TV talking about how the Republicans were asking Akin to step down and how she felt they were wrong for doing it.

All I could think was if Akin doesn't step down and let the Republican replace him, by next week Old Claire will have an attack ad flooding the airwaves using his comment to destroy any chance the Republicans would have in taking her seat from her. If she is supporting him staying in the race you can guarantee she is not doing so to beneifit the voters of her state it is to BENEIFIT HER POLITICAL CAREER.

He needs to go and let someone that can beat her take over. As the Republicans need to de-throne Reid if they have any chance of repealing Obamacare.

What goes on in Missouri is their business. How dare the G O P in all their high and mighty arrogance demand any body step down?
The people voted for the man and his mouth overloading his butt is a decision for their electorate. They are dang sure smart enough to decide if he is senator, a fool, or whatever in between.
Harry Reid shows his a** every time he opens his mouth, and we stand in amazement, so enough of the condescension.

if he steps down the democrats would have wasted the $1.5 million they spent trying to get him to be the GOP candidate..

no wonder she is defending him.... he is the only one she thinks she has a chance of beating...

It is our business but ultimately this effects the GOP large scale. This Akin man is an idiot, plain and simple, was before he made such a comment.

Did these "grannies" make a video about Ron Paul, when he more or less said the same thing?

You are a Ron Paul supporter, aren't you OT?

Ron Paul Generously Offers Victims of ‘Honest Rape’ the Right to Abortion

Great news, rape victims! Ron Paul is willing to make an exception in his strict "no abortions ever!" rule for you, but only if you have one of those "honest rapes." In fact, he's got some great ideas on how rape victims should behave.
