McSame/Palin and Women

Its sometimes surprising to me that McCain with his history of opposing womens rights- and actions toward them ( of deserting his crippled wife and family- of using them as "toys"- calling his wife a c*nt, etc, etc.) , he has been able to get any womens support, let alone as much as he does-- but I wonder how Palins involvement with Buchanan will carry over... :???:
There goes all those Hillary and PUMA bra burners he was looking for by picking a woman....

Buchanan says Palin was a “brigadier for me in 1996"
Sunday, August 31, 2008
The McCain campaign is denying reports that Sarah Palin was a supporter of Pat Buchanan in the 90’s, but Buchanan himself says that Palin “was a brigadier in 1996 as was her husband… they were at a fundraiser for me, she’s a terrific gal.”

Why is this significant? Well, let’s look at what Buchanan has said about women:
http://www.adl.org/special_reports/buchanan_own_words/on_women.asp

The rise of women to power in a civilization is very often the mark of its decline.” - On “The McLaughlin Group”, July 2007

“In short, the rise of feminism spells the death of the nation and end of the West.” - in his book “Death of the West: How Dying Populations and Immigrant Invasions Imperil Our Country and Civilization” (p 42)

Rail as they will against ‘discrimination,’ women are simply not endowed by nature with the same measures of single-minded ambition and the will to succeed in the fiercely competitive world of Western capitalism…The momma bird builds the nest. So it was, so it ever shall be.” - Washington Times, Nov. 1983

Buchanan is also no friend to Jewish voters, having praised Hitler for his “great courage”.

Ironically she says that altho she wore a Buchanan campaign button- and helped him raise money at a fundraiser- instead of supporting Buchanan -- or even McCain -- in 2000, Palin actually supported Steve Forbes. :???:

Yep-- But try telling that to Sandhusker and his lap dogs that keep saying that just serving on a board with Bill Ayers makes him and Obama blood brothers... :???:

She even wore this clowns campaign button- and raised money for him....By Sandhuskers standards that must mean she thinks identically to him.....   :p

It would also mean that you think exactly like President Bush, which renders you're argument completely illogical, if not downright laughable. Try again.

Correct and I did-- until Bush changed- and I did not.....Thats what I say is true of SH's argument- completely illogical.....

As you may not have noticed-- I questioned how Palins involvement with Buchanan might resonate to women-- as if some might use Sandhuskers logic (illogic) and tie them together as soul mates... :???:
