Hey ocm! What are your R-Klan sources saying was accomplished at the Denver convention?

Very little news on the google search for a National Convention featuring the US Sec. of Agriculture.

I am surprised there wer no big announcements or will those be coming out of the "Git 'er Done" convention in Nashville?

I just got back about 3 hours ago. There were quite a few media people there. You should be seeing the stuff pretty soon. Sec Johanns canceled because Bush wanted him to travel to Madagascar, so he said anyway. Undersecretary Chuck Connors spoke instead. Uneventful speech.

Smooth convention. I felt like a lot of good was done. The panel discussions were the best. They will be podcast on cattlenetwork.com

ocm, why should you expect that Bill would ask my permission to name call when you did not ask my permission for your implication that Johanns' trip to Madagascar was probably a ploy manipulated by President GWB to avoid having his Ag Secretary speaking at your convention?

Yet 'implication' has the same dirty effect. You only THINK your hands are cleaner. Sort of like a person who only rinses their hands after using the bathroom, then claims to have used soap properly when returning to work in the restaurant kitchen.

We are stooping to all-time new lows here.

Are you on the Gin again? :???:

Or maybe Johanns was too drunk to make the meeting?

Must have a hot goat meat import deal lined up for Tyson or Cargil...These two old boys have their precedents  :(

Yep Maxine, I know its implication- but if you ever took off the rose colored glasses your sight might be much better......Past actions speak louder than all the promises and speech's.....

Boys, you really need to stop being led around by the nose by those conspiracy theorists or bring verifiable evidence to support the nasty accusations you make if you want to be taken seriously.

Does Johanns drink alcoholic beverages to excess, ocm? Where is your proof of it?

Why do you persist in the truly laughable implication that I drink ANY gin, or any other such beverage to excess?

Such silliness is counterproductive when you seem so determined to make people think you are honest and serious about your issues!!!!

Yea, OCM! Where is your proof that Johanns is a drunk? You should be ashamed of yourself with such notions. Of all the nerve!

He's always doing that. I think he's trying to keep up with Mike - such immaturity!

BTW, you didn't say much when SH called Callicrate a purjurer any of the times that he did. That took some nerve! (no tact, but a lot of nerve) Is it because of his "intolerance for liars"?

Wow the National convention of what some of you claim is the most powerful group representing US ranchers wrapped up 2 days ago and this is all any of you have to post.

I wonder if Johanns ever intended to speak or if that was just another R-Klan ploy to get the media there and instead they left disappointed and with nothing to report on!

Madagascar over the only group that supposedly truly represents the c/calf and feeding sector?

Are you sure it wasn't something at MADISON SQUARE GARDENS?

Almost a week since the convention started and still nothing reported other than scholarship winners and that R-Klan lost $300,000.00 last year.

By the way ocm, I did a search on Johanns and Madagascar and everything I could find came up with the date 2005. Are you sure he really did accept the invitation to speak?

R-CALF sends its nominated policy resolutions to membership for approval. So, those kinds of things are still up in the air.

It's too good to pass this one up. Maybe the misapplication of the said accusation is indicative of the imbibation of alcoholic libation by the accusor, not and indication of the reprehension of the linguistic appellations by the accusee.

Sandcheska: "BTW, you didn't say much when SH called Callicrate a purjurer any of the times that he did. That took some nerve! (no tact, but a lot of nerve) Is it because of his "intolerance for liars"?"

Mike Callicrate lied under oath. Lying under oath is perjury by definition.

Your little Sandcheska spin is that Mike would have to be brought up on perjury charges to have committed perjury. Typical of your deceptive ways.

Just because Judge Strom never brought Mike up on perjury charges does not mean Mike Callicrate didn't lie under oath committing perjury.

Judge Strom's instructions to the jurors to disregard Mike's testimony because he found Mike's testimony to be untrue is more than enough proof that Mike lied under oath committing perjury. Mike also changed his story.

Mike Callicrate has lied to producers many, many times.

1. IBP had contractual arrangements with other major packers.
2. IBP stepped out of the cash market for 8 weeks.
3. Packers and retailers were making $400 per head off the backs of producers.
4. Tyson dismissed jurors because they were black.

The list of Callicrate lies is well documented.

Sandcheska defends Mike Callicrate because Mike tells packer blamers like Sandcheska what they want to believe. Truth and facts don't matter to a packer blamer.
