Moving a bunch of cattle Memorial Day morning. They are multi-colored in the spirit of Decoration Day.

Going through a swamp

Memorial Day ceremonies at Martin, South Dakota

Quite impressive

A nice-sized crowd was on hand.

A neighbor boy who just graduated from high school this spring giving a poem. The girl in blue recited In Flanders Field,
and the lady holding the girl did a wonderful job singing the National Anthem and God Bless America.

A state representative gave a good talk

Attentive audience

Another Ranchers.Net aficionado. He seems to be successfully practicing tried and true military maneuvers of cover and concealment,
using nature's shadows to best advantage.

My dad forgot to bring a chair, so this ladder serves the purpose.

The unveiling of the new Veteran's Wall

The cover is whisked away.

Flags of the Armed Forces are put into place.

The wall was an idea, conceived, promoted, and accomplished by a young man for his Eagle Scout project. Others also worked
diligently to aid in its completion, and it is a fine tribute to local veterans.

The honor guard in their closing march

We are all very proud of this fine group of gentlemen.

They have fought the fight to keep our great country free.

The Wall

A veteran and nice gentleman

My name is even in there somewhere.

Three fine young brothers from the JF Ranch

My dad, his bride, her daughter, granddaughters, and their neighbor girl

Impressive line-up of flags, over 250 in all

The cemetery was very beautiful.
