Merry Christmas to all of our Ranchers.net friends.

We had 15 of lazy ace's family over last night for Christmas Eve supper of Certified Hereford Prime Rib, homegrown baked spuds, strawberry pretzel salad, homemade rolls, green bean casserole (one of my favorites,) lefse, corn, chocolate pecan pie, Tollhouse chocolate chip pie, and ice cream cake.

We opened gifts and enjoyed watching the youngin's being so excited and tearing into gifts.

And, Santa stopped by our house. I caught him having a little nip

My folks had planned on also coming up for Christmas, but they are snowed in at home in their Colorado mountain valley, and with calves to feed decided it was best they stay near the 'stead.

Well Merry Christmas to you all. Please remember to keep our veterans and those defending our country in your thoughts and prayers.

Christmas cheers---

TTB :santa: and lazy ace too!

I haven't had lefse since I was a little boy in North Dakota, still remember how much I liked it.
If you would put a recipe on here I might talk Mrs Gcreek into making some, she is part Swedish so she might have the " Scandinavian Touch"

Me neither-- luckily my German ancestors weren't fisherman- nor did they eat rotten fish....

Lefse is really good- with a little butter and sugar or cinnamon/sugar mixture on it..... :D With us having the Lefse Shack near by my wife doesn't make her own anymore- just buys it from there...Good stuff- but not recommended for keeping a Barbie doll figure....
