How do I tell when a remington target master model 41 was made. I know it was a cheap little single shot in it's day but it's as sweet as a mothers love to me. It sights itself. :wink: It's my favorite gun . It doesn't have a serial number on it.

I didn't realize it was that old. I wonder where the serial number is . It has something stamped on it that looked like a G and some other stamp like a star or something but I couldn't find a serial number.

Mr Lilly says the G stands for Government, and it was probably used as a training rifle to start with. Hope this helps

Could be. I'll post a picture of it. It's been a real fun gun. When I was too small to carry it , my grandpa would carry it for me down the dirt road by his house and let me shoot at rabbits.
