Low levels of radiation found in US milk

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2011/03/30/state/n145310D86.DTL

Very low levels of radiation turned up in a sample of milk from Washington state, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Food and Drug Administration said Wednesday, but federal officials assured consumers not to worry.

:x Yeah right, I recall what swine flu did to the hog market in Venezuela a couple of years ago.

Sounds like another mad cow epidemic is about to happen :???:

Lord I honestly hope not but people can be such enormous chicken-littles. I just shook my head when I heard people saying they didn't want to eat pork because of swine flu.

You can't fix stupid.

Still 5000 times below any level of concern. Milk is the first place the iodine is going to show up. So no it is not a given that it will show up in any of the meat products. Not that it couldn't but not a given.
