I just put some fresh mineral out to the gals. (Sorry FH, it was that brand from IA that was about $5 bag cheaper.

But I promise I will buy some of the right kind soon! )
I made my own homemade lick tub with about 75% cracked corn/DDG and 25% mineral. Since the gals are now drinking fresh surface water out of the dams instead of my high sodium artesian water they are eating mineral again while they didn't hardly touch it all winter.
It's nice to have some incentive for the gals to come into the corral so I can eyeball them. Not supposed to start calving for another month but one bull got out early.
Another mineral item to think about this time of year is grass tetany. Seems it would sure be a good idea to get some magnesium in those heavy milking mama cows with green grass soon coming on.
