Mini trip to the Black Hills of SD

After a rough month or so, we snuck away to the Black Hills and did some touring. We have been there several times, but never had taken the time to visit Sylvan Lake or ride the 1880's train. Both were very beautiful scenery and relaxing..I'd recommend the hills for a great get away...

You just reminded me, I've been wanting to take that train!
How long is the ride?

The train starts in Hill City..hour to Keystone..switch engines..hour back...It's a nice peaceful and scenic ride..Hope you do get the chance to ride on it someday.

We used to sell bulls down in Sturgis-that is a real pretty part of the world. I bet I'm the only guy who ever escorted a load of Shorthorn bulls up the mountain to see Mt. Rushmore lol.
