just in case you didn't dislike/hate her before....

Note: Some references, including Fonda's 2005 autobiography "My Life So Far," give the year as 1959.

"If you understood what Communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees that one day we would become Communist." (speaking to students at the University of Michigan in 1970)

I wanted to do a tour like I did during the Vietnam War, a tour of the country. But then Cindy Sheehan filled in the gap,

in her position as Miss Army, Fonda was required to travel all over the U.S. with the big Army brass talking young men into an Army

At the time of Fonda's gig, President Jack Kennedy already had a few thousand "advisors" and special forces troops in Vietnam.

no wonder some vets hate her so much...

Some vets???? I think they all have no use for her.*
And this is being brought to the forefront as they have her playing
Nancy Reagan, of all people, in "The Butler" That really is an insult to Conservatives.

Jane Fonda is to play Nancy Reagan in a movie about the White House butler who served every president from 1952 to 1986, Variety reported on Tuesday.

The film trade daily said director Lee Daniels was lining up an all-star cast for The Butler, which is based on a Washington Post story about Eugene Allen, who served US leaders from the time of Harry Truman to Ronald Reagan.

The report said that Forest Whitaker was lined up to play Allen, with Oprah Winfrey set to play his wife.

Liam Neeson and John Cusack are set to play presidents Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon respectively, but there was no indication of who would play right-wing icon Reagan.
Fonda, 74, last appeared in the 2007 film Georgia Rule with Felicity Huffman and Lindsay Lohan and is set to hit screens later this year in the indie film Peace, Love and Misunderstanding..

*edited--hate is a strong word...

And here her brother has lived in Montana for many years, in fact I think
he was the first of the actors to move here, and you never hear a bad
word about him. He just fit in...he keeps a low profile.

I didn't mean to imply that any vets liked her, or could even stand her..
I think most are like myself..

I can't stand the ----

but I won't waste time hating her.. she isn't worth it..
