Can a person who wears special underwear really get elected as President? I don't think so, if you do not wear underwear like the rest of us I don't think you will ever be President.

Never knew until this morning that Mormons have their own secret undies. Someone will have a field day with that if he makes it to the general election.

Geezzz....I know some good people who are of the Mormon faith and I know some SOB's who are of the Mormon faith.

I know some SOB's who are Baptist, Methodist, Church of God, etc...and I know some good people who are Baptist, Methodist , Church of God, etc.

STUPID comes in all faiths/beliefs!

You people are just as bad as the ones you condem of the Islamic sharia...you WANT religion to rule your goverment! The only difference between you and them is that you are on this side of the Atlantic!!!

All the people running for President are acting like they have to kiss the arse of all these Evangelicals....who left THEM in charge of the United States?

I do not want religon to run my govt. ...but I want a man who has a deep faith andmoral value system to be in charge so he will make the decisions with the compassion that religon give a person. but I also want that man to have the balls to stand up and blow away any bastard who dares to take away my freedoms and way of life I enjoy.

so a steady blend of religous beliefs and street corner bully is my idea man for President.

both of these qualities are the prime reason a woman has no business running for office.

Jigs knows absolutely nothing about college football, but he knows a little on politics.

I don't want my government to be ran by any Christian church, but I want my government to have Christian values. To deny the deep Christian influence in the founding of this country is to be blind. I think the majority should rule without stepping on the minority, and the minority should accept that or move to where they are the majority. The majority of this country are Christians and the minority who are offended by public prayer, Chrisitian symbols in public places, etc.... need to shut up and deal with it. The Bill of Rights doesn't give anyone the right to not be offended and thee are no laws against it. If they don't like it, I hear real estate is cheap in Afghanistan.

SHEESH- Now if I use A- values for choosing who I should or shouldn't vote for- I can't vote for my Sheriff anymore because of his undies...
And I can tell you from my youthful experiences of rodeoing in Utah and Idaho that all the young mormon ladies I met wore no special undies- Must have all been jack-mormons   ......

Its unfortunate that we've taken God out of the schools because they've monitored every learning book.... do you not know that the reason the people left England to come to America was to worship God? (in the manner they chose) Do you not know our country was built on Godly principles..... the ten commandments are not just Godly principles, don't you think they are also common sense moral living??

I guess Pastor Perry Stone is right when he says we are one generation away from being an anti-Christian nation. Twenty years ago people knew what "Christian" meant, nowadays they don't.

I don't care what color or brand or what kind of underwear he wears (or what anyone else wears for that matter or whether they don't wear any). I do however, want a moral president and I would prefer him to be Christian. I do not think cross dresser Guilliani or lesbo Hitlary have any morals whatsoever.

Personally I do not care about most religions as far as taking an office. But that does not mean the general public will not care.

But a persons religion really does say a lot about that person especially when it borders on a realm of a cult or a Joke. The type of religion a person chooses says a lot about the thinking process of that person. I am not saying Mormons are in the same league as Scientology but it could be said the are bordering on the fringe of it.

No matter how open minded you are in regards religion that does not mean all voters will be.

Me I am only closed minded when it comes to Muslims, that is the only religion I would not vote into office for any reason. I know there is good ones but I will not take a chance on making the mistake of picking a bad one. I doubt many people would have voted in a German or Japanese during WWII and I would not vote in a Muslim at this time. I would also not vote in a Scientology they are just to out there for me to respect their thinking process.

Don't feel too bad, Steve - I agree with her, too. Nobody is all good and nobody is all bad. Heck, I've even agreed with ff, Oldtimer and EcoTex before.

An objective person should be able to do that. And not be ashamed to admit it.

Why not just you worry about YOU and stop trying to save the ' general public'!

Are you calling the Mormon faith a joke or cult? Why do you feel the need to insult these people?

YES, you surely are closed minded.

If most of you DO NOT want religion to be the ruling for in the government ....THEN WHY DOES IT BECOME PART AND PARCEL TO EVERY POLITICAL DISCUSSION HERE???????

You took a chance and got Bush...is this why you're spooked about 'picking a bad one' now?

All the religion he claims to have hasn't helped GW when it comes to ethics, honesty, compassion, or worshipping anything except the allmighty dollar...  :( If he had a little of those he could wear pink polka dot panties for all I'd care.....

I don't care what religion someone subscribes to or if they subscribe to one at all. I want a smart president. One who will put the interests of this country above everything else. Bush hasn't done that and look at the results, debt, war, more debt, inept management in the government, a falling dollar, massive illegal immigration, a stuggling economy, and let's not forget more debt.

Is that what Slick Willy was doing with his dealings with the Chinese? It seems Hillary is continueing that relationship.

I think this line and the reason our forefathers put it in the Constitution are many times forgotten.....

Article VI Clause 3 The Constitution of the United States:

The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.
