Moment of silence

Folks, at this time I feel it is appropriate to bow our heads and offer a moment of silence for our dear brother Mike, who's beloved Auburn Tigers suffered a rather nasty setback yesterday at the hands of the Arkansas Razorbacks.

May the solace that only the lord can give rest upon you, Mike. Bless you.

Correction: It was a bit more than "a rather nasty setback", but no need for the silence. We should save that for the "BUFF" fans who actually ALMOST won a game yesterday.

Seriously, we had it coming, when you play in the SEC, where there are no patsies, you might get beat on any given Saturday and just that happened yesterday. Overconfidence can get you every time.

Florida comes to town next Saturday. We'll see if the Ark game woke anyone.

Auburn dropped to #11 in the polls today. Probably where they oughta be.

So mike what's the mascot for Auburn??

The Auburn Tigers also have a mascot that is an eagle.

Quite a sight to see him soar around the stadium before the game.

Folklore has it that sometime after the Civil War when Auburn was playing a football game, an eagle flew over the field and someone proclaimed it to be the "War Eagle".

Actually, I think things are getting better...we were competitive with WV. The score with five minutes...28-14. We had two 'tip drill' INTs in the red zone...could have been 28-28.(we are very creative at finding ways to lose) If you get the chance to play WV, they lose composure against smashmouth football...typical dirty Auburn ball!
If we can get away from playing top ten teams(3 out of first six...would have been 4 out of 8, but I think, your good friends, GA. may drop a little), we may have a chance to win something. :?

What say you Sandhusker?

No one is giving the Nebraska score tonite, were they playing a real team?

I really feel guilty about Auburn taking over 3 ESPN's tonite.

No, we just played the K St. Mildcats - beat them 21 - 3. I thought you might be a happy camper tonight.

I SHOULD have done some "Bogarting" last night. When I got up this morning I couldn't help but notice the brand new 1/2 gallon jugs of "Old Forrester", "Crown", and "Makers Mark" were empty. :???:

That ain't counting the big jug of "Grey Goose" vodka the women took care of.

What are friends for anyway?
