Just driving out there in that '64 ragtop Impala would have left a permanent smile on my face. Must have been quite the time. Any more pictures of the car, or recollections?

It is nice to see early photos of Ellen Mettler, I met Ellen in Brookline, Massachusetts during the winter of 1980. The license plates on her vehicle were Wyoming plates and she spoke often of Moosehead Ranch. A few summers later I bicycled through Wyoming, Ellen was disappointed that I never visited Moosehead Ranch. But I was headed for Boulder and made no detours or extended stops. Last year I read Ellen's obituary from 2007. I was saddened to read of her death. We had lost touch and had not spoken since the late 80's. She was a great friend. Although she died in California - her heart will always be in Wyoming
