Bush reversed the recession in 2001, and had a bad run of luck with 911 & Katrina. Did we hear him making excuses?

Buckwheat:
"We had reversed the recession, avoided a depression, gotten the economy moving again," Obama told a crowd in Decorah, Iowa. "But over the last six months we've had a run of bad luck." Obama listed three events overseas -- the Arab Spring uprisings, the tsunami in Japan, and the European debt crises -- which set the economy back.

"All those things have been headwinds for our economy," Obama said. "Now, those are things that we can't completely control. The question is, how do we manage these challenging times and do the right things when it comes to those things that we can control?"

Clearly,he doesn't begin to know the answer to his last question.

You mean he didn't outline his detailed plan. He probably just didn't want anybody to feel stupid, by pulling out his charts and working through some complex equations and stats.

In other word obama said he was in over his head...but it's still Bush's fault that he is in over his head.

Silly libs

if this President of the United states can't get past crises and move forward..

think ,.. it isn't really that hard. just sit down with a team of experts, and deal with the problems.. Think

or take a bus tour and ask someone for advice..

Why is he in office?
