These were taken the day first day the cows were home, they've got pretty good pickins to go with their hay.

Good thing I looked at these after I posted the first or you'd have thought I was on Jody's medication

Those pictures have the same chilly look my windows have, I think you have more snow than we do.
Your cattle are looking good.

Now if you could send a picture of your tree to Mrs Greg, she could take a picture of herself, send them both on to Lilly, she could amalgamate the two and we would all have a photo of Mrs Greg in front of your tree. :p

Snowing hard right now, we decided not to attempt church today. We've probably got close to a foot of snow. Hope the mountains get dumped on,we need it.

All your cattle sure look good :D . They look like they've got plenty of natural fleshing ability, something I'm trying to get more of in my herd  . Jill is going to be a lanky girl... I'll bet she can really scoot out and get around the cattle. My Casey dog is built like a tank... and moves like a tank, but that's okay with me for these pregnant cows  .

You live in good country and raise good Herfords. I would be able to get attached to eastern Oregon. Glad to see the moisture, I am sure it is welcome.

Thanks everyone :) It was pretty cold in some of the pictures, today is mild (22 F) and snowing hard.

We select for easy keepers, still have a few to cull but as long as they rebreed I guess they can stay. We are really happy with how the cows look considering we didn't wean til just before thanksgiving, and they were out til last week.

Jill is pretty speedy all right

Those are some really nice looking white-faced cattle, the black ones must be out of the neighbors bull. In photo #13 it looks like winter is a little tougher on the next ridge, really great country that you live in, thanks for the great photos.
