Hereford bull sale
These bulls come out of big wide open badlands ranch country. They are good stock and completely unpampered. The only hay they have had their entire life is at the sale barn the couple days before the sale.
Young horses off the same ranch were sold at the same sale.
There was a special catalog horse sale at Gordon on May 2nd.
Even a nice buggy horse was sold at the sale.
I think the horse was fifteen years old and brought $1700.
A friend from Wyoming came to visit.
We worked on a hunting camp together during the fall of 1971.
The troops showed up to help.
Our task for the day was to get cattle situated in better protection because of a winter storm forecast to happen on Mother's Day.
The Polaris people should be proud.
