An Agency Rife With Fraud Would Administer Guest-worker Program (by William F. Jasper)
by William F. Jasper
April 2, 2006

As President Bush and his allies in the Senate push forward for amnesty for the 11-12 million illegal aliens already in the United States and for a guest-worker program that would bring in millions more “temporary” workers, they are withholding an important report that scathingly indicts the agency that would be processing the massive influx of aliens we would expect under the proposed programs.

An investigation by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) has found that the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS), the agency within the Department of Homeland Security in charge of adjudicating immigration benefits such as citizenship and permanent residency, is rife with fraud. The report has not been released, but a draft of the report obtained by the Washington Times says, “Adjudicators we spoke with said that management’s focused attention on reducing the backlog placed additional pressure on them to process applications faster, thereby increasing the risk of making incorrect decisions, including approval of potentially fraudulent applications.” The GAO report says that fraud in some categories of visas is as high as 30 percent.

Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), who has seen the report, told his colleagues on the Senate Judiciary Committee on March 2: “Let’s be realistic. Our government bureaucrats simply cannot implement a program for 11 million illegal aliens. You’d all be shocked if you learned about the internal fraud and abuse at the Citizenship and Immigration Service. I have been investigating the internal problems at CIS as well as their backlog of national security cases. The bureau doesn’t have an effective practice for reviewing these cases. Officials are being bribed. Visas are being given away. Green cards are being sold. CIS is giving out interim benefits, which is a precursor for additional privileges.... And we want this agency to handle the program in an effective manner? That’s unrealistic.”

It is beyond unrealistic; it is criminally irresponsible.

We have Soldiers in 146 countries. There is no one home to defend us should something arise...

So stand by your First and Second Amendments:

1) Use your freedom of speech and Freedom religion

2) Your right to bare arms without licenses or permission by keeping your weapons and munitions on hand because you may need them.

We have 40 million illegal immigrants. If they decide to group together in the US how quick can we build an armed force :???:

Akal Security for years have prepared with the belief that they will be here to defend the country when all of our Military are spread out through the world.

Most people do not realize how thin we are spread out and if we get into it with Iran then they will implement Clintons draft falls into the agreement with the UN. Everyone male and female from ages 18 to 42 will have to serve. That leaves us old farts here to preserve whats left.

T3023- It may not be as far off as many think-- this could be a long hot summer-- glad I'm not living in a metropolitan area...This is all we need is another group of people that don't care about authority or laws- don't understand the difference between legal and illegal :???: ....But this is what we get when we allow and even condone people violating the law for years until it gets to epidemic stage.........

I saw on FOX news the other night where the one illegal immigrant supporting group is proposing a Hispanic uprising- or as they put it- to take back their country (MEXICO) which was stolen by the US...They don't even want to be Americans- just reap the benefits......

Illegal Aliens Stage Mass Protests Against Immigration Bill (by William F. Jasper)
by William F. Jasper
April 2, 2006

More than 500,000 demonstrators took to the streets in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 25, in a massive protest against immigration bills now before Congress. While the Los Angeles event was by far the largest demonstration for "immigrant rights," similar major rallies also took place in many other U.S. cities.

In Chicago, the demonstrators — mostly Hispanic illegal aliens — reportedly numbered over 100,000. Other totals reported by news sources: Denver, over 50,000; Phoenix, 20,000; Milwaukee, 10,000. Significant demonstrations also occurred in Providence, Trenton, Minneapolis, Knoxville, Seattle, St. Louis, Staten Island, Portland, Grand Rapids, and Tucson.

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa addressed the enormous crowd at City Hall, as did the state’s Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez. Their chief target was H.R. 4437, which was passed by the U.S. House of Representatives before last year’s Christmas break. Among other things, H.R. 4437 would increase penalties for immigrant smuggling and for reentering the United States after being deported. It would also authorize funds to build barriers along 700 miles of our 2,000-mile border with Mexico. “We cannot criminalize people who are working, people who are contributing to our economy and contributing to the nation,” Mayor Villaraigosa told the demonstrators.

The organized protests continued the following week, spreading to the schools, as the Senate took up debate on the issue. On Monday, March 27, local news reports in Los Angeles stated that “tens of thousands” of Hispanic students had walked out of classes in protest.

CNN interviewed student participants. An unidentified female expressed the defiant, lawless attitude typical of many who voiced opposition to H.R. 4437: “It’s going to affect our parents, our brothers, our sisters, everyone. And we are one people and we don’t believe in borders.” Another female student said: “If you’re walking next to an immigrant, you are going to be arrested and that immigrant is going to be kicked out. What kind of country is that?… Who cares if they’re legal, [or] illegal?”

This is one of the laws in the Patriot Act!

The bill, which Carcieri introduced last week, also resurrects World War I-era laws that make it illegal to "speak, utter, or print'' statements in support of anarchy; speak in favor of overthrowing the government; or to display "any flag or emblem other than the flag of the United States'' as symbolic of the U.S. government.

Forgive me if I am wrong but it seems to me that the hispanic demonstrations have broken the law here.

Isn't this what we are seeing in these hispanic demonstrations. So the patriot actdemonstrators in Los Angles or Flordia or New York or Chicago ......

Haliburton just recieved a new "No Bid" contract for containment centers all over the country. I magine they will try to imprison some of these unruly folks with Marshal Law and if you or I get in anyones way we will go there too!
