...at least according to the way you guys look at things!!!

Dow has hit the lowest it has since 1930

and

OPEC said oil will go to $170/ barrel.

Now,with this statement , they might as well go ahead and raise it to that tomorrow as they just now have set their market!!!

( Earlier it was mentioned/feared that oil would hit $140/ barrel...and it did within about 3 wks of that pronouncement)

Dow the lowest since 1930? Anybody stupid enough to believe that is stupid enough to vote for Obama. GULLIBLE AND UNINFORMED

Well...then call Bloomberg TV....ABC , CBS and FOX News QUICK---HURRY----RUN--- and you tell them that they are ALL wrong !!!!

And...Market Watch..............

http://www.marketwatch.com/News/Story/Story.aspx?column=Market+Snapshot

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stocks fell sharply Thursday with the blue-chip index enduring its worst June so far since 1930, and plunging to its lowest finish since Sept. 11, 2006, after getting slammed hard as crude soared to new highs and Goldman Sachs disparaged U.S. brokers and advised selling General Motors Corp.

Don't get mad at me cause you are too stupid to read and pay attention to MORE THAN one news source.

Now, quick...run and call'em all. Heck, you might even get yourself at a new job and put Warren B. out of a job. The " Sage of the Sandhills"

You expect a liberal woman to interpret a written sentence?

Dow has hit the lowest it has since 1930

The answer:
and plunging to its lowest finish since Sept. 11, 2006

The DJI couldn't be compared to 1930 anyway. The 30 companies that make up the Index are completely different from what they might have been just a few years ago.....................................

kola don't ya just you could take that post back. you will never live that one down.

As for the oil all we would have to do is tell opec who cares we are drilling everywhere we can be it Alaska, off the Coast etc. we have a cou[ple new refineries going to be built. We tell them we are going to mine the coal that Clinton put off limits and on and on. Oil would drop like a rock.

The thing is Opec know that the liberals in Congress don't have the onions to do anything about our oil and the liberal socialist citizens are to stupid to care.

What was the dow in 1930 and what was it yesterday. Your news source has got you hooked up and they even have you reeled in. The funny part is you don't even know it.

And what has McCain came up with for an answer? More of Bush policy- drill and borrow.... :( The only suggestion I've heard come out of him is a gas tax holiday- which means less funds for bridges and roads-- just more borrowing off our kids and grandkids...

Bllomberg was reporting today that one of the quickest means to lower gas prices- and do a quick fix for the economy, would be to get OUR military out of Iraq- as they are the biggest single user of oil, and the $Billions a month spent to fund them could go a long long way toward developing alternative sources of energy quickly...

This is the first time I've heard Bloomberg insinuate what I've felt all along-- Bush's war is bankrupting the country...

And McSame- following in King Georges footsteps, has no problem spending our kids and taxpayer money there for 100 years......

Has BarryO got a better idea? All I've heard from him is his socialist windfalls tax that's about as mindless as a Rev. Wright sermon.

Holy cow, don, we're agreeing on something! You're not all bad after all!

This energy deal isn't a quick fix. It's going to take a lot of effort on several fronts and there is certainly going to be some pain before it's handled.

Sad thing is with gas prices hitting $4.00 a gallon this energy crisis should be on its way to being over. Americans have seen how big a problem it is, the free market will develop alternatives in record speed. Like Nissan and Chevy releasing Batter powered plug in hybrids that can run on zero gasoline. Entrepreneurs around the country are blowing their minds trying to be the next Microsoft to develop alternative solutions.

If now the government would only do their part and open up all drilling and coal and nuke use. OPEC would soon be making a lot less money. Sure it would take a few years, but any solutions such as alternatives will take a few years.
