http://www.mediaite.com/online/what-legislation-is-glenn-beck-denouncing-as-nazi-stuff/

In reaction to the Kansas shootings this week, two Democrats are pushing for legislation to come up with a government report looking at the perpetuation of hate speech in the media. The Hate Crime Reporting Act of 2014 would update an old report on the role of the internet, radio, and television in “encouraging hate crimes based on gender, race, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.”

Senator Ed Markey argues the purpose of the bill is to make sure anyone using any of those outlets is not encouraging hate speech “outside the protection of the First Amendment.” The bill has gotten a mixed reception, with liberal radio host Alan Colmes speaking out against it, and now Glenn Beck has jumped into the fray.

Beck, who was very outspoken against an FCC proposal to look into American newsrooms, decried the bill as Nazi-style tactics. He said, “Forget about the Fairness Doctrine, this is Nazi stuff.”

He showed off an old German SS-approved radio that cut off access to certain radio stations, saying “we’ve been down this road before.”

Watch the video below, via BlazeTV:

Definitely should do something about this media. The nazi radio sounds like a great idea. It would really help to end discussions.

Maybe we could give the regulation of the internet over to the UN?

Hitler and the Nazis outlawed socialism, and executed socialists and communists en masse, even before they started rounding up Jews. In 1933, the Dachau concentration camp held socialists and leftists exclusively. The Nazis arrested more than 11,000 Germans for "illegal socialist activity" in 1936.

yep, they didn't like those communists, but Hitler referred to Fascism as the "middle", communists being to the left and capitalists to the right.

So Hitler himself considered Fascism left of Capitalism, and right of Communism.

The only difference between Fascism and Socialism, was that Fascism allows for private ownership of business, but the government and business still work together to control the economy...socially, they were much the same.

Maybe that is why were designed to have a republic with the majority of laws and regulations written at the local level and being consistent with the constitution.

Anti-government- no. Local and representative government- yes.

Regarding Hitler, ask yourself this question- was the central government more dominant or the local government? Pretty easy to answer when people died regularly for not consenting to his demands.

Exactly, Hitler killed anyone who was a threat to his tyranny. A large focus was on indoctrination of the youth, and them in turn tattling on their own family members. Also confiscation of guns, and socialist programs that didn't and weren't meant to pan out. Almost sounds familiar.
