This nice red-haired chap is Sunflower's friend from England.

Kosmo Kid and his bride
A long-time friend, Tom Hoffman.
When my dad bought a herd of registered Hereford cows from Lorentz Raben back in 1972, this gentleman purchased 300 commercial Hereford cows from my dad. The three-way trade was done for tax purposes. Tom had a very distinguished military career, and was injured in an explosion. Since then he has been hard of hearing. When he was recovering in the hospital, encumbered with a full body cast, he had someone teach him how to read lips. He says he gets by real well by doing this, unless the speaker is chewing tobacco or has a large mustache.

I kinda like these old Sandhills, just as they are. We don't need no stinking wind turbines or high voltage transmission lines.
