More Out Of Control Policemen

Something needs to change with law enforcement. Everyday needless numbers of people get hurt excessively by the one's who should be the protectors.

Policemen used to be respected. This all their fault.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn . – An East Tennessee sheriff says a deputy has been fired after a photo was published that appears to show him choking a college student who was charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest.

Knox County Sheriff Jimmy Jones said in a statement Sunday that he believes 47-year-old Frank Phillips used "excessive force" during the arrest Saturday night and that the deputy has been terminated.

Local media reports that two other deputies have been placed on administrative leave after photos showed them handcuffing the University of Tennessee student.

The Knoxville News Sentinel reports that the photos were taken by freelance photographer John Messner and first appeared on the website of the U.K. Daily Mail. The caption says the deputy, whose hands appear to be around the suspect's neck, rendered him unconscious.

When you have a lawless President, in a position of authority, do you not think lawlessness will trickle down?

"Trickle down Lawlessness"

You heard that term here first. Kinda catchy, if I do say so myself :D

but seriously, if the President and people like OT are not willing to follow their oath, why would any other LEO feel they should?

The USA is quickly becoming a lawless nation, but with millions of bureaucratic regulations with 100s of new ones added, every day. I wonder who the laws are being passed to protect, if not the average citizen :???:

So would you please show me where I have ever not followed the oath of office I took first 40 years ago- and reaffirmed just a couple of weeks ago ....

Constitution of Montana -- Article III -- GENERAL GOVERNMENT

Section 3. Oath of office. Members of the legislature and all executive, ministerial and judicial officers, shall take and subscribe the following oath or affirmation, before they enter upon the duties of their offices: "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support, protect and defend the constitution of the United States, and the constitution of the state of Montana, and that I will discharge the duties of my office with fidelity (so help me God)." No other oath, declaration, or test shall be required as a qualification for any office or public trust.

It's a good thing your oath doesn't say, "I solemnly swear to be truthful at all times."
