Sort day at the Gap, and at least it wasn't snowing (at that moment)

Those are beautiful pictures of awesome and inspiring country. Just kind of gets the old "Call of the Wild Goose" song going in my mind. Thanks for posting.

The first picture of the Gap looks just like the cowboy movies where the cattle rustlers are hiding the herd.

nr, we don't need to rustlers to hide the cattle, as the mountains do a fine job all on their own! We are still three short so will have to make another trip or two looking for them. I wish I'd had my camera when we were up the one creek, as the view was awesome, looking at the side of a mountain, but chasing cattle through the trees can be harmful to camera health.

I hope you find them. Must be quite a challenge searching a mountain for a couple strays

nr, it is a huge area, with many mountains and valleys to search, over something like 300,000 acres, but they do generally show up, although sometimes its the next year if the winter isn't too harsh, and the predators don't get them. The association is about 50 short, so we're not the only ones looking. A little snow would help bring them out, but I'm not in a hurry for snow.

I just sold a saddle to a gal in Alberta, now I wish I'd delivered it so I could have seen that country in person. Sure is pretty! Question, is your boy "tailin" them horses out? (the pics alittle fuzzy).

The one horse is tailed, the other two he's leading. Must need my eyes checked, as I didn't realize the pic was fuzzy.
