Didn't want to put all the pictures in one post. This was the day after putting out the protein. We knew we had 6 pairs out, so went to gather them up...ended up with about 25 :???: Sneaky cows, they're never happy.

This is where I started out with the 6 pair we knew about. It's where Big Creek meets the Powder River

It was the last day of deer season so Mike was looking for my deer (didn't find it). He's on top of the cliffs.

Thanks for the pics Nicky. That's some mighty rough looking country. Pretty in a western sort of way but rough.

I'd like to visit up that way one day. :)

We'd love to have you :) Come during chukar season, then you could see cows and bird hunt. Of course we're working dogs all year pretty much so it really wouldn't matter when you came.

He looks pretty good. Is he cheap, and do you take trades?

For someone who sold calves as high priced as you did, yup, he'd be cheap.

Nope, no trades! Got too many now!

Looks like a nice horse to me... On the small side or is Junior just a big guy or are my glasses and dried out eyes playing a trick on me? Me thinks I need to take an 8 hour nap

Nice stout stud Nicky. A walker and pinto too, it doesn't get better than that. If more people tried walkers, they'd never go back to anything else!

Thanks!! That is a very true statement. Do you ride them?

At the moment I have a selection of everything else. I have ridden them and love the way they just keep speeding up the walk until they are flying. A neighbor rides one, and he leaves everyone in the dust, even my Standardbred, who is a walking fool.

Sure, I'll deliver him. Got a guy that wants some colts hauled to California, you ain't too far from there, are you? :D

Of course, I'd have to get enough to make it worth my while.

I like that stud.

Does he have any "cow " in him?

We'd like to have you come and visit. Shoot, I'd even give you directions to Soapweeds house, so you could go tell him what a nice paint horse he missed out on.

Well, I think we have too many of our own right now :? But you can sure stop in on your way to or from Ca. We'll even let you ride the stud! He is pretty cowy. He's our night calving horse, we just hop on bareback with a halter on and go get em.
