Do Missouri Fox Trottes move the same way as The Walker Horses? Had someone once recommend I look at the Missouri critters but I jsut have not gotten around to it...
That is a nice marked Paint JB.. Most around here are almost solid white now.. Not that the color matters but it is always nice to like the way your horse looks I suppose.
I have friend who rides a Missouri Foxtroter and he is one smooth cat! He just looks like he glides over the ground.
I don't know what he would be like , sorting cattle.
We had an old stud who was a pacer. The guy who sold him to me said he had a running walk, but Dad said he paced. whichever, he was nice to ride. And about as "cowy" as any horse I've ever ridden or seen. He'd get a cow in a corner and "bird dog her". Just set there movin' his front end a little and his head and neck, waiting for her to move and kind of daring her to do so.
My favorite horse, goes back to him.
Come on out and check out the paint. You just might like him.
I bought him as a colt as he was really well made and I figured when he grew up, and got gentle, someobody was going to want a flashy lookin' rascal like him.
