Hi guys...been busy and not able to get online...

but, as you can continue to see, the dems and rep are from the same cloth....here you have a republican governor that had the chance to Force Obama to prove he is a citizen or not get on the ballot there and she vetoed it.

clearly he was born in Kenya but surely you know by now he was not born in hawaii as he has stated.

look at gold...and silver...they have stolen our country...your dollars are going to be toilet paper soon...how did they do it? look at my posts....they did it right before our eyes and most of you defended them....

God Bless

You two blathering anti-semites need to realize something........

1. The Hebrews are God's chosen people.

2. I'll damn sure take an Israeli as my friend any day than to have him as my enemy.

It's pretty obvious that you Bobsy Twins never made it to town much.

Prove that I’m anti-Semite. Just because I’m anti-Zionist doesn’t mean I’m anti-Semite.

If it costs more than you can afford to make a Zionist your friend, isn’t he really your enemy anyway?

Sorry, Tweedle-Dumb...the burden of proof is on YOU to prove you are not an anti-Semite. You and Tweedle-Dumber musta never went to Sunday School if you fail to realize that the Hebrews have been God's chosen people for thousands of years. I have friends who are Israeli. They love America and they love living here, because all they ever wanted was a chance to succeed (or fail).

Have a nice day........

I think the burden is on you. You’re the one who called me anti-Semite. What is an anti-Semite? Really, what IS an anti-Semite??!!

So we’re supposed to give them everything we’ve got and let them get away with murder?

The definition of an anti-Semite is as follows...a person who is hostile towards or prejudiced against Jews.

The definition of Zionism is as follows...a political movement that holds that Jews are a nation, and, as such, are entitled to a "Jewsih National Homeland", and also as "a movement to support the development and defense of the state of Israel and to encourage Jews to settle there". Anti-Zionism can be opposition to either of these objectives or their implementation.

It is possible to be anti-Zionist and not be anti-Semitic, but in our world, there exists the soverign nation of Israel. Every Islamic country within a thousand miles wants to wipe Israel off the map, but the US, as co-creators of the state of Israel, are bound to the state of Israel in many ways. Netanyahu said it best when he said Israel isn't what's wrong with the middle east...Israel is what's right with the middle east. The Hadji's are scared sheetless of Israel, cause they know the Israeli's won't hesitate to defend their people or lands. They keep the bad guys in check, so to speak. It's really hard to say what the Hadji's might try to do to the US or other countries if Israel wasn't there, being the junkyard dog for the rest of the free world. If you don't blieve that, google Raid on Entebbe...but TweedleDumb and TweedleDee probably imagine that that, like the Halocaust, never happened either.....

Isn't saying that Israelites are God's chosen people and Christians are not making a statement that Jesus was not the Messiah?

If Jesus came as a Messiah to the Jews then the Jews that followed Jesus are also God's chosen people. Even also the Gentiles who followed the Messiah are God's chosen people. So why do some look to the Jews returning to Jerusalem as a sign of the second coming of Christ?

So, the founding of a Jewish state in Israel should not be a decision based on religion, but simply a giving them the land because of the sufferings of the Holocaust.

Then, that brings the question: Why were the Christians who lived on the land, and had for centuries, not also included. And why is Israel not a true democracy, by not allowing anyone but Jews to be a citizen?

Muslums are a separate consideration, as they are really a heresy derived of both Jewish and Christian beliefs.

I am not saying that Israel land should be returned to its former owners, but that Israel should be more open and not a strictly Jewish state.

But that decision was made more than 60 years ago by politicians, and surely politicians are much wiser than I.

good post

Martin, a question?

Where were the Jews originally located (Biblical times)

Egypt, for sure, but what land did that encompass at the time?

I've also read Mesopotamia (Iraq), and if so, how did they come to be in Egypt?

As I understand it, God sent Abraham to the land of Caanan, now called Israel, which they always clailmed as their land.

Joseph went to Egypt during a famine to find food and the Israel people followed him. Being enslaved there, Moses brought them back to Israel.

They were taken captive and taken to what is now Iraq, later coming back to Israel. (Some remanants of Jews in Iraq became Chaldean Christians.)

The Roman occupation and finally the destruction of the temple drove many of the Jews out. Many also left to Europe when industry developed and they found work there.

Of course, the Muslums conquered most of the Holy Land and took it over, with some Jews and Christians still living there as a minority.

So, they have always been in, or around, what is now Israel? Except for the times they either made the choice to leave, or were driven out?

Any idea if there were any types of borders at the time, or did was "Israel" just "no man's land", at the time?

I haven't made any studies of the mideast and borders, etc. But it seems that there were some division of territories.
Maybe someone more knowlegable can tell us more.

I don't think there was really borders back in those days, but they defended their cities. In King Davids time his kngdom consisted of Isreal to the north and Judah to the south. Ezekiel called them the two sisters.

The Hebrew people were forced into exile several times during history. The Bible is not history, but often it coincides with history. I believe the Romans destryed the second temple about 70 years BC this may have when the scattering of the Jews across Europe started.

That's 70 AD on the destruction of the temple. There was a Jewish revolt and the end result was the destruction of the temple. Jews blamed the Christians.

135 AD another Jewish revolt resulted in the Romans killing or exiling many Jews.

I guess I should read Jimmy Carter's book "Palestine Peace not Apartied". It does have a choronology of events that would help to understand the situation.
I probably would not agree with his solutions to the problem, I know the Israelies don't agree with it. And maybe there is no solution as the Muslums want it all and want to impose their religious laws and the Jews don't want citizens to be anything but Jews. The Christians are getting fewer all the time.

Here is the only problem.

Israel is behind 9/11. It was a mossad operation.
