BRG, I really like the depth of your cattle! :D You sure raise some pretty Red Angus and your place looks great too. Someday i'll have to make a trip back when ya sell bulls. Might have to bring a trailer just in case! Thanks! :D

Are you sure you don't need to be supplementing those cows? They look like they have had a pretty tough summer!

When will you start weaning?

BRG those sure are nice looking cattle! I like the capacity they have. What are your cows weighing? I run the black angus but it sure would be hard to drive by and not notice your cows! Do you have a website of when and where your sale is? And the last picture.....PRICELESS RBT

The spring born calves will get pre-weaning shots next week and they will go in around Sept. 10. Then the summer born calves will get weaned mid Oct.

Put a postage stamp on the calf that is sucking when you wean him Bryan and send him north.

Your country and cattle are in good shape.

Dave maybe it's time for a roadtrip!!! I'm hoping to make the Genex one in Sept. Lindskov/thiels, Schaff's , Gartner Denough and a few other stops. I like to check bulls out myself before I peddle semen on them. Sire selectors sometimes see things different than I do.

Get ahold of your Genex rep-I'm going to take a couple customers with me. Hey if you are looking for some pretty darned good cows-Valleyhills Angus is dispersing this fall up here-probably as good a set of red and black angus cows as there is. They make them rough it so probably won't have to pay a barley premium at the sale barn. The owner is painfully honest-he'll tell you if a cow ate a thistle through the barbwire five years ago.

I am always amazed at the kind of cattle herd that you have shown in your pictures. Likely the best RAs I have seen anywhere.

Terrific thickness AND length. You have done a good job.

Used to spend some time near the the bend of hwy 65 and the Grand River, probably near where your at, it's nice to see the rangeland in better condition for this time of year. A lot of good stock in that region, your cattle look real good.
