Well we are getting more rain today, but the grass is green and growing very quick. We have had over 39 inches this year before todays rain and the folks over in parker county are still trying to deal with the flood they just had recently. It would have been a great year to plant rice LOL :D. It is a good thing i have Tracks on my chair or i would sink up to my neck in the mud.

Fast, you just wanting to get stuck again so you can get to ride with that cute paramedic in the back of the ambulance again. LOL

Be carefully going home and hope it stops raining for your ride home and watch out for those holes in the field, might be a squirrel hiding in one of them too. Seems you got a deal for squirrels lately. LOL

Lilly I hear you, I got hay in field that I baled back in May and not been able to get it out of the field since then. I walked in field couple weeks ago, Johnson grass was taller than the bales.
Sure need to get it out and then bale, but way they are talking about us getting another 1 to 4 inches it be late next week before I can even think about it if not longer
Allot of haygrazer up here is heading out, once it dries it going to be a mad dash to get everything rolled up.
Saw one field that had hay already rolled upt and water was with one foot of the top of the roll, it was bottom land that floods easily. Sure those bales not going to be any good.
Last year could not buy a drop of rain this year it will not stop
Good luck on your haying, let us know how you come out on it.

I hear ya about the rain, this is the first time in about 6 weeks that anyone's even been able to think about cuttin anything. Made a drive yesterday thru some back roads to go get fuel for the tractor, and there's folks scramblin ever where cuttin and balin as fast as they can.

Our johnson grass field is about to go to head again. Hopefully we'll be able to cut this one "freebie" field that was given to us, and then move on over to our own field and get it laid down too. Then rake and bale Sunday afternoon.
