Moved from Coffee Shop: Moderating complaints

I have to say that when bse was new and the topic was hot, I lost my cool with OT and his way of thinking. Seems to me I may have even got personal with my attacks. However, at no time did OT ever stoop to my level at that time and because of that I have the quite a bit of respect for him, and try to conduct my behaviour accordingly. I see him get trashed and bashed in here, but he stands up for what he believes in without dropping down and rolling in the mud like some others in here. Personally I think he gives the place a little balance that makes it a bit more tolerable than it would be otherwise.
So, for what it's worth OT, I may not agree with you on many things but I'm glad you're here. Thanks.

Heck ot I knew who you were and where you were from. I just googled blow hard/judge/braggart/brandinspector/exsheriff/ didnt even have to use the words idiot whiner or biased to find out who you were or where you were from. :wink:

By the way I meant to ask the other day that 280 lb boy you married what time around was this. Number 2 3 or 4. You might want to stay on the side lines if you want this one to last.

In my post defending Oldtimer I wondered if you'd like others to call your family out on the carpet the way folks, including YOU, have done. And I mentioned that I would lose a lot of respect for folks who would defend attacking a man's family. Well I need to correct that pig farmer. It would be impossible for me to respect you any less than I do right now. That's not a shot at anyone but YOU! As a life long Republican and a staunch conservative I am ashamed to even brush shoulders with somebody as un-Christian and heartless as yourself. You can't debate at all. You just cheap shot and sucker punch and slander. If you are not pretty dang embarrased then the only other option is you must not be very bright! I figure me and most Liberals might agree on 3 to 5% of any topic we'd discuss. Doesn't give me the right to blind side thier grandkids. Is Oldtimer perfect? He sure isn't and may cross the line himself sometimes. But since I am a long way from walking on water myself, I figure I can cut him some slack. If you want to spew insults while hiding behind a computer monitor, feel free. This is America after all. But take your own advice and WISE UP! Every time you open your mouth you get smaller and smaller. You keep up your yapping and before long you'll shrink right down to nothing! Wait! Too late!

I guess Bull Session is gonna have to be like political Bull for me! Should'a known to wade into a pig pen. I am not trying to do anything more than try to get folks to be civil to each other. I was raised to respect others regardless of our differences. To look for the good in folks instead of magnifiying the faults. To try to do unto others as I have them do in my direction. I thought all Ranchers lived by that same code or atleast wanted to. I reckon I am pretty naive. But I'd rather be called that than calloused, uncompassionate or plain mean. I'm done with ya. Slander away! Maybe Macon could set up a meet and greet where ya get to fist fight or stone folks who don't think like you. Go ahead and kill the whole site off with you venom. Just ponder on this....... Will you be a better Dad? A better nieghbor? A better husband? A better human being by treating people the way you do? Rant over! Sorry for ruffling any feathers. Nice Rant but it did nothing to change my position. ot is a snake in the grass by his own admission as well as many posts of late.

When he redeems himself by apologizing and stops his personal attacks then and only then will I HAVE A DIFFERENT opinion of the blatant old wind bag. :lol: :wink:
