It doesn't matter the President- I'll support them until they show me different...Just like I did with Bush, until it became evident of what his actions/inactions were doing, especially to the economy- even tho earlier the rightwing and the leftwing were both ripping him a new arse...
And while I don't support all of the Liberal ideas/sections on some of these important issues/bills- health care reform, Long term energy Act, Jobs Stimulus, etc.- many of these have been needed for 5-10-15-30 years- (all promised by GW) and nothing was done...At least now someone is looking at and trying to do something....
And I don't pee down my leg in fear over the actions of this Administration so far as some seem to be doing...I realize that the Bush Bust has put us into an area we have not been in for 70-80 years since the time Hoover put us in the same shape...And much of the ground broke afterward then too was treading new waters....And some folks were peeing their pants then over the "socialism" of the WPA, CCC, and the start up of unemployment insurance and social security that Roosevelt started up...
But the country didn't turn out communist as the leg pee'ers were preaching-and today Roosevelt is thought of as one of the greatest Presidents-and many of the progressive actions he took are landmarks of civilized nations around the world..
