Forgot my camera in the morning so only got pics after the action was mostly done.

The last unload.

Is still pretty warm. Kind of like spring only the days are shorter.

Look back to where we came from. That is the far away view of the same rock that is my favorite backdrop.

That's an amazing thaw you have had down there Per. Thought my grazing cows looked poor today and realized that the snow has crusted after that thaw and they can't get enough for water. Had to give them access to a water bowl. I guess a half chinook is probably worse than no chinook for us.

I thought the thread was titled " Moved to the REST HOME." :D

That is the way I read it too. Was expecting a joke.. :)

LOL me too.. :p

Pics look great Per, thanks for sharing.

We are mucky as "be nice" here I thought calving in Jan I would escape the mud and rain.. In fact it is so nice out the power company has us scheduled for 2 days without power next week. I hope I can rig up the generator myself as hubby isn't expected to be home for quite a while now.

The new pup is getting used to being hauled to the bathroom sink every time she comes inside now..

I laughed about the title after I posted it. I figured you would all figure it out. We are past the crust up dust up. You are right GF, a half Chinook is worse than no Chinook. This good one has really got me out of a feed jam. Kinda like a reset button was pressed. I am pretty thankful. :)
