Moving Cows Again

Trailed cows 2 miles to some stockpiled native pasture. As long as the weather holds, we should get a few weeks out of it. Took some pics of some of the bred heifers as we gathered them before heading out.

Nice looking cattle. The extra hair on those Galloways should get them through a Canadian winter without even noticing the cold. Looks like you live in an area where there are ample trees for protection. That would be nice. :wink:

Luckily my generations past were wise enough to keep the trees upright, while most neighbours turned them horizontal. Now they complain that all the deer are on our place and get mad when I won't let them hunt in there. HA!
