Muslim American?

This is an e-mail forward I just received and it deserves passing on.] Have you ever thought -- Can a devout Muslim be an American patriot and a loyal citizen? Is Muslim-American really an oxymoron? I forwarded that question to a Friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years. The following is his reply: Consider this: 1. Theologically, no… because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon god of Arabia. 2. Religiously, no… because no other religion is accepted by his Allah except Islam. (Quran, 2:256) 3. Scripturally, no… because his allegiance is to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran (Koran). 4. Geographically, no… because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day. 5. Socially, no… because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews. 6. Politically, no… because he must submit to the mullah (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America, the great Satan. 7. Domestically, no… because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34). 8. Intellectually, no, because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt. 9. Philosophically, no… because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or Autocratic. [How else are you going to keep crazies like these in line?] 10. Spiritually, no… because when we declare "one nation under God" we don’t mean Allah. [And speaking of God, He didn’t make a planet full of countries so one of them could house all the others.] Therefore after much study and deliberation.... perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannot be both "good" Muslims and good Americans. Call it what you wish you enemies of this great land of ours... it's still the truth. Who, once he understands what and how these people think and believe will not think they are lying through their teeth when they profess to owe allegiance to this country? Yet those whom we trust to safeguard our country (INS) knowingly allow this foreign invasion by our sworn enemies. If you find yourself intellectually in agreement with the above statements, perhaps you will share this with your friends. The more who understand this, the better it will be for OUR country and OUR children’s future. This religious war is bigger than we know or understand. [End of forward.] Yes it is. It may be an invasion by sneaks and cowards rather than a frontal assault, but to them it IS war... a so-called "holy" war. Make no mistake though. It IS war. Arthur Warchol Wylie

Go to www.shoebat.com. This guy is something else. Used to be a terroristPLO member, did horrible things to Jews (as a terrorist would do), saw the light and came over to the right "correct" side. What he says is astronomical; he says you cannot talk with terrorists, they are like cancer and need to be eliminated and the only way to deal with terrorists is to annihilate them all.

I think I'll post this in other places.

They were talking about muslim populations on the news and how they out number us by a bunch. The worst part is that they figgure in the next 25 years their numbers are going to out number us by even more. Cant remember the figgures but they were in the billions.
Our immigration policy has to be changed and im not talking about Mexicans either. Actually even though I dont know any Mexicans they seem pretty good compared to some of these others we are letting in.

Sounds like our evangelical policies need to change too.

What do you mean?

If muslims are winning the "war"on religion, what are they doing right? What are their competitors (christians) doing wrong? What are their governments doing right and what is ours doing wrong?

The battle over the soul by religious entities must be examined. Their portrayel of the "truth" must be seen as well as spoken. To much of the world it is not.

sw that article you posted was a good one. I thought the author hit the bulls eye with it.

I wonder what the author would have to say about the Jewish religion. The jews didn't become followers of Jesus. They just killed him and went on with what they were doing. Saying that will probably get me in trouble but I still wonder about it.

I came accross an article that I will post below about jews spitting on the cross and christians. I don't know how true it is or if it is true how common it is but I wonder about it.

Jew spits at Greek priests in J'lem
Jerusalem Post, Sept. 5 (2005)
By ETGAR LEFKOVITS
A young religious Jew spat at a procession of Greek Orthodox priests
in the Old City of Jerusalem on Monday, police said, in the third
such incident in the mixed city in the last year.
The skullcap-wearing assailant, Amitai Shashar, 20, told police that
he spat at the procession near the Church of the Holy Sepulcher
because he saw the cross that participants in the ceremony were
carrying, Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby said.
The attacker, an Old City resident, was taken into custody by police
officers who were escorting the religious procession.
A Greek Orthodox Church spokesman said that the Jewish extremist had
spat in the face of the head of ceremonies, after getting into a
heated verbal altercation with the priests at the procession.
Church officials declined to lodge a complaint with police, the
church spokesman said.
The assailant was later released on NIS 2,500 bail by a Jerusalem
court, and ordered to stay out of the Old City for the next thirty
days, except to go to and from his Old City home.
The incident was the third such assault in the Old City in the last
year.
Earlier this year, an Armenian priest was attacked by four yeshiva
students in the Old City of Jerusalem, an altercation that began
when one of the yeshiva students spat on the black-robed priest in
front of the Armenian Monastery where he lives.
In a separate incident last year, a yeshiva student spat at a Sunday
morning procession of Armenian clergymen in Jerusalem's Old City and
then scuffled with a priest. He later apologized. (JPost, Sept. 5)
According to Amiram Barkat in Ha'aretz on Oct. 12, 2004, the phenomenom
is probably underreported by the victims:
Christians in Jerusalem want Jews to stop spitting on them
A few weeks ago, a senior Greek Orthodox clergyman in Israel
attended a meeting at a government office in Jerusalem's Givat Shaul
quarter. When he returned to his car, an elderly man wearing a
skullcap came and knocked on the window. When the clergyman let the
window down, the passerby spat in his face.
The clergyman prefered not to lodge a complaint with the police and
told an acquaintance that he was used to being spat at by Jews. Many
Jerusalem clergy have been subjected to abuse of this kind. For the
most part, they ignore it but sometimes they cannot.
On Sunday, a fracas developed when a yeshiva student spat at the
cross being carried by the Armenian Archbishop during a procession
near the Holy Sepulchre in the Old City. The archbishop's
17th-century cross was broken during the brawl and he slapped theyeshiva student.

According to Daniel Rossing, former adviser to the Religious Affairs
Ministry on Christian affairs and director of a Jerusalem center for
Christian-Jewish dialogue, there has been an increase in the number
of such incidents recently, "as part of a general atmosphere of lack
of tolerance in the country."
Rossing says there are certain common characeristics from the point
of view of time and location to the incidents. He points to the fact
that there are more incidents in areas where Jews and Christians
mingle, such as the Jewish and Armenian quarters of the Old City and
the Jaffa Gate.
There are an increased number at certain times of year, such as
during the Purim holiday. "I know Christians who lock themselves
indoors during the entire Purim holiday," he says.
Former adviser to the mayor on Christian affairs, Shmuel Evyatar,
describes the situation as "a huge disgrace." He says most of the
instigators are yeshiva students studying in the Old City who view
the Christian religion with disdain.
"I'm sure the phenomenon would end as soon as rabbis and well-known
educators denounce it. In practice, rabbis of yeshivas ignore or
even encourage it," he says.
Evyatar says he himself was spat at while walking with a Serbian
bishop in the Jewish quarter, near his home. "A group of yeshiva
students spat at us and their teacher just stood by and watched."

Seems to be more common everywhere.

I think we need to bring christianity back in to our goverment as a whole. And I think as a society we are excepting low morals. Stop and think of all that has some sort of religion on it. Our money for example.
