In 2008 I still was riding my horse. Ray Park and I could see mustangs up on the ridges while we were unloading our horses. We could cover a lot more country a lot easier than today. These mustangs are on The Cedar Mountain, north of Dugway Ut. We consider them the "Wild Bunch" because It's really hard to get close enough to take good pictures. The BLM rounds up and thins out the heard about every four years. These horses are in a place called Wild Cat. We haven't even seen a track there for two or three years.
We meet this little band coming over a ridge. I'm not sure who was the most surprised.
We stopped for lunch on a hillside in the cedars. Our horses were tied up a little way behind us. This lone black stud came to visit three times before he decided he wasn't welcome.
