My Apologies Jason

Yesterday I lashed out at you Jason, or as Ben would put it climbed on your back to try to make myself somehow look better. Brad reminded me with his little story about the nature of Canadians to be respectful, to wake up. I don't quite know where, and when I lost that ability to listen and not be aggressively confrontational, but I have. And I know that just like teaching a dog something new with a stick rather than a treat is wrong. Some folks here on ranchers are simply so in tuned with their own little area of expertise, that if you see beyond their emotion, you will find some good. No matter which side of the border, or which side of the packer issues they are on.

I had no right taking my disagreement with you out on your stock Jason.
I know for a fact that you would not have to look very far yourself to find someone who was disappointed with Randy Kaiser. I have lived with a very sharp Microsoft sword at the ready for the last few years, and have made more than one enemy because of it. I can't let the frustration of this utterly frustrating BSEconomic atmosphere continue to make me bitter. My skin has been toughened almost to the point of an Oldtimer I know, and I think even he would agree that the battle is taking it's tole on his well being.

I am excited about our industry Jason, and will continue to find ways to solve the problems that are driving my neighbors off their land, and their children into the city. I will look for the good in your posts and will try to turn over a new leaf on ranchers Bull Session.

except for with you Oldtimer

My apologies Jason

Hey there Kaiser-- You must be getting sale jitters or something-- too much time perming those wooly critters-eh   You've done more babbling on a dozen sites about a hundred unrelated subjects this past week....

Remember one thing

You never want to take life too seriously- cause you ain't going to get out of it alive anyway....

Actually Oldtimer, I have to sit by this damn phone for about 18 hours a day to keep up with the calls. In between that time, I have popped in on these chat sites a lot, and also done a lot of thinking.

Bless you Oldtimer ---- Just kidding, I won't take my thinking that far.

Still find time to run around and feed cattle and git wood for my stove --- not much primping at my sale. What you bin up to Old boy. How come you have so much time for ranchers and agriville.

Well kaiser- I hauled a couple bales up to my mares this morning- and checked out the snow levels on the pasture...Put me in a pretty good mood as all the coulees and low spots are blowed full and there is 6 inches on the flat so we should have some runoff for water holes...

I may not have as much time here for awhile-- I just found out that my Judge is in the hospital and won't be back to work for at least a month-- so I am going to have to fill in for her...Won't be back until after I start calving- so might cut in on my ranchersnet time... I'll have to fire up the computer in the chambers...
So if I find something good to bring your blood pressure up, I'll put the court in recess just so I can bring it up and post it for you

And for Heavens sake don't go on a big drunk after your sale and end up in jail down here- I told them prisoner arraignments will take second fiddle to heifers...You might just have to set for a few days    ...
