Whereabouts are you in South Dakota

I am 80 miles east of Rapid City.

maybe I'm a little too picky because to me, I think the front hooves are a little too long on the bull in the second picture.

I saw that last night when I went to post the pictures. I was positive he was OK but first thing this morning I went out to look. 6 inches of mud from the rain we had made it a little hard to tell but I am almost sure it was just the angle of the way he was standing. The old bull I posted is his sire and his feet are as good as a 4yr old as any yearling so I am pretty confident on his soundness. Also, if you ever don't like a bull you buy from me I will make it right, it doesn't matter if it is 2-3 years later.

That's a good way to do business, Doug. In all the years we've been buying bulls, whether they were Herefords, Simmentals, or Angus, I don't think we've ever gotten that kind of guarantee. Maybe one year after, but never 2 or 3. I commend you!

I don't have a rain gauge out yet but I'll guess we had about two inches of rain and plenty of wind yesterday. It is so wet here . We had 72 inches of snow this past winter too. A record..... The wind took 1/4 of my two year old rood off of my barn. If I could figure out the picture thing I would post a picture. I complain when my insurance premium is due but I guess it is worth it when you need it.
Last year at this time you could row the corn . Nobody has even thought about getting into the fields this year yet.
