My Dog

My dog sleeps about 20 hours a day. He has his food prepared for him.
He can eat whenever he wants, 24/7/365. His meals are provided at no
cost to him. He visits the Dr. once a year for his checkup, and again
during the year if any medical needs arise. For this he pays nothing,
and nothing is required of him. He lives in a nice neighborhood in a
house that is much larger than he needs, but he is not required to do
any upkeep. If he makes a mess, someone else cleans it up.
He has his choice of luxurious places to sleep. He receives these
accommodations absolutely free. He is living like a king, and has
absolutely no expenses whatsoever. All of his costs are picked up
by others who go out and earn a living every day. I was just thinking
about all this, and suddenly it hit me like a brick in the head,
Holy Smoke, my dog is a Democrat!

Our dogs live outside in the cold kennel and when it is real cold they get to move into the tack room in the barn. They don't get to beg at the supper table but make do with what we put in their feed dish which is high quality dog food and the odd steak bone. When they are called on to work they do so with hope of recieveing a loving tap on the head and the words good job boys. When not working or in their kennel they run freely playing on the range they are willing to protect from any trespassers man or beast. So I guess unlike your dog Cal our must be conservatives.

My wife voted for Obama because the blacks have been put down to long and they need a chance - - - My Great, Great Grandmother ( 5 generations back ) was a black woman from Alabama and my Grandfather "passed" as white. I feel I could not vote for Obama because I felt he did not have what I felt was needed to lead the country.

I could have supported my wife if she had been able to give me any reason to vote for him except for the fact she wanted to be able to say she voted for the first black president ever. I don't feel that is a good enough reason.

But I will support her right to vote in a totally stupid manner. Thats the best spin I can put on it.

Are you positive she voted for Obama? seems like more and more people are saying "well I didn't vote for him" even though a yr ago they were elated at having done so

When I was cooking at that hunting camp last fall, I met people
from all walks of life and from many different states. One thing
I noticed...all the men were against Obama, but many complained
their wives intended to vote for him. :???:

What did he have that these women were so duped, as George
mentioned his wife was?
I really thought WE (women) were smarter than that.

Many women are downright jealous of the success of Sarah Palin. She is smart, pretty, and not afraid to speak out against stupidity in government. Many females, especially the liberal woman-libber types, feel insecure of their own merits by her successes. Consequently, they voted both for the charismatic unknowlegeable swooning of Obama, as well as against Sarah Palin, who they knew deep in their hearts was much better than either Obama or themselves.
