My few but mighty Buelingos

Thanks for the pics. I heard Dad mention several times about banded buelingos but I never saw one. It kept coming back to the banded galloway, so I was almost wondering if there was such a thing as buelingos.

They do look like good cattle, not just 'fun' ones. They would have to be good with those breeds involved, especially the Highlander.

Does anyone know anything about 'Panda' cattle? I think they are like the Buelingo's, but have white circles around the eyes. Saw a website for them somewhere once and forgot where it is. I know someone who really wants one of them and think she plans to go look at them this spring.......probably was somewhere in the nw USA.

What about a breed of Longhorn/Highlander dominance? Is there such? Those have my favorite traits.

Had a neighbor up the road that ran a pretty good sized buelingo cross herd for years. Looked like pretty functional cattle but I have no idea how he marketed them.
I was in the stands at a pretty hot bred cow sale when a string of his came in. The auctioneer anounced " these girls are bred bue....lingo" and the crowd went silent. Finally a grisly old cowby spoke up, "did he say buffalo?".
He was a good $200 off sale average.

Yes, no doubt they look like good cattle, but would be "fun" ones in my case since I'm sure the buyer would sort them off in the fall. I guess it depends how you market them  :D.
