My lil Garden

Spent today working around the yard....
I put some cedar mulch around the herb garden and the tomatoes. Behind them is 6 red bell peppers and 4 cucumber. Behind them is the potatoe row then the fence I put up for the peas and planted the peas and last the corn row. I looked at other corn planting and figured out I planted mine a bit toooo far apart so I put a couple seeds between the ones I already planted.

I planted some rosemary sage orgeano and 2 pineapple mint and put the same mulch around them. Waiting till next week and getting some dill fennel chives and hopefully some lavender.

I got 6 of the nangking cherry bushes and I know the row is NOT straight LOL getting some more mulch to put around them. Thought I had enough but oh well.
Waiting on 10 black raspberry bushes to come in and going to plant them at a 90 degree angle along the other fence line. These are on the other side of the house closer to the road. Hopefully will be a wind break and also add a bit more privacy.

Looking good! Looks like it's been there for a long time, not like a brand new garden. I bet your weed level will be a way below mine this year!

What are black raspberries like? I have red ones, and they are responsible for me having the best winter ever this year, with enough jam and jelly to eat it ever single morning on my toast. MMMM........ good! We went through the patch today and cut out last year's growth. Now my arms look like I put them into a bag of wild cats. They're totally scratched up.

But it's all worth it....

I wouldn't worry about the Nankings being crooked. Once they're grown, you'll never see it. :D All you'll see is those lovely cherries.

Thanks yall. I am tired today but yes it is well worth the work.
Black raspberries are darker and have the the same taste as red ones. I was going to get red mega ones but shoer wanted the ones he use to get while growing up  picky picky.
I was going to get a couple of red and balck untill I read you cant have black ones close to the red or peachy ones. Oh well.

The only problem is I have to wait 2 years for the raspberries :(
Hopefully there will be some cherries next year.
