Well, Im pretty excited. No school tomorrow, so me and a freind and asnother friend are going to go to the ski hill a few hours away. I usually ski. He has me talked into snowborading, and he has most of the stuff so ill just ahve to pay for a lift ticket. I used to have a fake snowboard when i was a kid but never really got good, so he's giving me some lessons, were going to have to see what happens. lol.

Any tips on how to snowboard?

Yup, this is going to be a scene-a 240, 5'11 14 year old kid flying down the hill on a snowboard in a snowmobile suit and a cowboy hat :p:p

Lmao cwosence-funny story here-. Ok, the other day I went snowmobiling with a buddy and showed him the area, and my real snowmobiling pants were dirty (got worn into the corral and i wiped into a pile of crap (they went from black to brown in 30 seconds) so I wore my Carharrt chore pants, kept me warm, but when we went to his place (we had to get some superglue because a buddy of ours had some throttle problemsand his girlfriend was getting upset with him so he called us, we got superglue and duct tape, wala) we walked in and I had chaff dust all over my pants and they froze on, everyone just started. First thing that popped into my mind to say was, "I know Im sexy, eh? The Carharrts pull it all off :p:p" They all busted a gut laughing, and my buddy couldnt breathe he was laughing so hard. lol.

Im sure theyll take some pics of me, they have a handheld video camera theyre bringing along I guess.... and theres the big air contest this week, man oh man, BMr, Ill tyr and get shipped to the Regina hospital, come visit me, eh?

cowsence-I am completely insured for accidents. Dad thought it was a good idea if I was going to be doing "extreme" sports like skiing, snowmobiling, and halterbreaking those darn black cattle. :p

My advice:
STAY ON THE BUNNY HILL!!!!!

Snowboards are crazy and you often end up going down the hill backwards  ( don't ask how I know.....)

I am very athletic and really comfortable skiing. I took one snowboard lesson and won't ever do it again. I was fun, but I just could not get the hang of the dang thing.....

Deciding if you're goofy or regular is a problem for some I'm told, and also that it's hard on your wrists, as they get a real workout everytime you fall and try to catch yourself.

Back when you were a Kid ACS??.... When was that? Last week?

Yep, figuring goofy or normal is a challenge for some... For me.. I didn't like snowboarding, found sking to be a lot more fun... Always wanted to try a monoski though, that way I could break both legs instead of just one..

I figure I'm safer to stay home and feed cows and leave the rest go skiing or boarding. I'd break a leg for sure, and then would have to be skidded off the hill so no thanks.
